About this market
Toronto Art Crawl was founded in 2013 by Nadia Lloyd, Toronto artist & designer, with the simple mission to create a plaform for Toronto artists and designers to sell their amazing creations, and to promote culture and creativity in our awesome City of Toronto. To date, Toronto Art Crawl has hosted in excess of 91 events; hundreds of artists and thousands of shoppers. Each event features between 80-180 artists and welcomes between 4-12k shoppers. This is a poorly organized market with extremely high vendor fees. The organizers clearly care about profit more than the vendors. For $450 for 6 hours I would be expecting high foot traffic but it was very low foot traffic, and under the bentway is a wind tunnel. I would not recommend and I think the organizers should put more effort into marketing bringing in audience or set better expectations
